ABOUT THE
WORK CLUB
The Work Club is a shared workspace in Lakewood, Ohio, on Cleveland’s west side. Members come here to do their best work in a room full of familiar faces, at any hour.
Why we built it
Remote work gave a lot of us freedom and took away the people. Kitchen tables, spare bedrooms and crowded coffee shops all get old. We built The Work Club to be the in-between: a calm place to focus that feels more like the club down the street than an office.
The space
We’re in the lower level of the Trinity Lutheran building on Detroit Avenue, part of Lakewood’s Trinity Block. Inside you’ll find long wood tables under warm lamps, a big indoor tree, soft chairs for reading, phone booths for calls, and a coffee bar with unlimited coffee and tea. The Wi-Fi is gigabit. Seating is open, so you sit wherever suits you that day.
How membership works
One membership gets you everything. Your door key lives on your phone, so you can come in at 6 AM or midnight. Pick a monthly, quarterly or annual plan on our join page. There are no day passes: it’s members only, and that’s a big part of why it stays calm and familiar.
The people
Remote workers, freelancers, creatives and founders. Connection is included, never required. Every Monday we pair members up for a coffee, and every couple of weeks there’s a happy hour in the neighborhood. Say hi, or don’t. More on our community.
